Philomena has a background in residential architecture, sustainability, and off-site construction. She holds a Masters degree in Architecture from London Metropolitan University (UK) and an Engineer’s degree in Sustainable Design and Construction from Stanford University.

Her interest in vernacular typologies and low-impact natural building is rooted in childhood summers spent in a centenarian off-grid cabin in the European Alps. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature or unwinding in the garden with a good handbook, or the occasional historical monograph.
